Barn Charm: Ominous Sky...

That barbed wire fence kept me from getting any closer.
I loved how this white barn stood out against the ominous gray sky. I wish I could have gotten it from another angle or two, but that barbed wire fence looked a little ominous, too. I can see that I need to invest in a powerful telephoto lens, as this is as good as I could get this without distorting it.

  1. I really need to remember to take my camera in the car with me when we go out as I'm always saying "that would make a great picture". Glad you have your camera with you, that's another neat picture! And scary sky, oh my, is it tornado season already?

  4. I love old barns. There was one here many years ago, but it was destroyed by fire. The countryside there looks very much the same as here.

  10. The barbed wire adds a lot of character to an already great barn! Love it. I'm finding some of my best barn shots come about with a background of ominous looking skies.

  11. it's a beautiful shot charade, the barn, the cupola's and that deep dark sky. it all works so well together.

    if you love photography, buy yourself a good nikon. i waited forever to do it and i so regret that i waited so long. i adore my camera and it brings me so much joy!!

    ooohhhh and even i would not mess with that fence!!
